CCS Detroit Summer Program

Hello,

The College for Creative Studies is excited to offer two unique scholarships, exclusively for high school students interested in Transportation Design and/or Fashion Accessories Design. Selected participants will be awarded a full scholarship to attend the three-week CCS Precollege Summer Experience free of charge, while also earning three college credits. I highly encourage you to share this exciting scholarship opportunity with your students!

All students applying for the contest will have their work reviewed by industry professionals—but only a few will be offered scholarships that will cover the cost of attending the program, housing, food, materials and round-trip transportation to Detroit, Michigan.

Through the Dunning Fellows and Scholars Competition, CCS offers 15 students the opportunity to attend our three-week automotive design summer program. Students get an up-close, hands-on view of the automotive design industry while being taught and tutored by designers from GM, Ford and Stellantis.

CCS offers 10 students the opportunity to attend our three-week Fashion Design summer program free of charge through the Fashion Design Precollege Summer Scholarship. High school students interested in the fashion industry have the opportunity to design and create fashion apparel and accessories in this immersive three-week summer camp. Students will make their own designs come to life under the tutelage of CCS faculty in our state-of-the-art studios.

Scholarship Renewed for 2023 Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program
