Absent Work/Friday School

If you were absent today (Wednesday):

Please complete your first draft of your argumentative essay and turn it in through Google docs. Please turn in your graphic organizer to the bin.

If you were absent Tuesday (7th Grade):

Please read pages 968-973 in the textbook and paraphrase lines 21-42. Turn it in through Google Docs or in the bin when you come back to school.

(6th Grade):

Please read pages 104-106 in your textbook. You will make a vocab flipbook when you return to school.

If you were absent on Monday (7th Grade)

Please write a journal response to the following prompt: Write about a time when you were upset. Your response should be in a paragraph at least 5 sentences long.

(6th):

Please review the Exit Ticket instructions. I will help you make a circle map when you get back to school.

 

*There will be Friday School this week for students who are missing more than two assignments.

3:05 Friday: “Tuesday of the other June” AND SLOT vocab retakes for 6th Grade

Plan accordingly.


7th Grade Missing Work

  • SLOT words from 9/20 and 9/21 are on the blog already. Scroll down. The others are: fiction, nonfiction, drama, poetry,media,plot, conflict, character, setting, and theme.

  • Link to Capitalization 2: DAILY DOABLES Activity 4
  • Shark vocab 2 is on textbook p.927. Write the definitions and a sentence for each.
  • Shark vocab 1 is on textbook p.916. Write a definition and a sentence for each.
  • Synonyms and antonyms are on textbook p. 927.

Remember, you will not receive full credit for late items, but it’s better than nothing. Please make sure that you do your work on time, unless, of course, you enjoy Friday school. I will not catch the work up on the blog again. From here on out, you must keep track.
