1st Unit!

Something happened and I had to delete my old blog and do a different one. Attached are all the things we’ve done in class so far. Don’t forget we will have a test on Tuesday September 22nd over migration and religion. Here is a study guide: World History Test 1 Study Guide

Friday (Sept 18): Buddhism lesson Lets-Look-at-World-Religions-Buddhism-Qs for homework use your textbook and learn about the main aspects of Confucianism.  Ch.-4-sec.-4-Chart-BLANK-confuc (1)

Thursday (Sept 17): Today we learned about Hinduism by talking to the text and creating an infographic of the religion to better understand it: Hinduism

Tuesday and Wednesday (Sept 15-16): We spent 2 days analyzing the different monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) and analyzed maps to determine how these religions spread. For Thursday a paragraph on how these religions are similar are to each other: Monotheistic Religions

Monday and Friday (Sept 11, Sept 14): We read this article, The Great Migration article, and tried to find all the places people migrated to and when outside of Africa using this map and questions: human-migration

Wednesday and Thursday (Sept 9-10): We spent a couple days exploring what a historian is and why learning culture is important. We analyzed my room like historians using this: BeginningofCourseActivityAlienArcheology and reading this article, Nacirema, to figure out how to observe history.
