Hello Everyone – I hope you find today’s work not too difficult or confusing. If you do then just email me and I will get back to you.

I know this weekend was beautiful and it was easy not to think of school …BUT…it still needed to be done. There are 15 students out there who did everything and I am so proud of you and your efforts – thank you – I know you are getting tired of this and you still pushed through.

There are 10 students who did not finish or do Friday’s work. Boys and girls I know how you feel…trust me… but we still need to keep learning, practicing and working. That is what we call “perseverance” or “grit”. You know the saying …”when the going gets tough – the tough get going”. Please go back to Friday and look at the assignments – if you didn’t do them – then you need to do them. I will hold off on sending emails to you and your parents until tomorrow. If they are still not done I will let you (and your parents know) so we can work out a plan. Send me an email if you need more time to make up the work —you know I will work with you.

I know the reading IXL takes a little longer. The students who finished the H.2 took an average of 17 minutes – but they focused and didn’t take breaks. I know it will take some a little longer (remember I am a slow reader also). Let me know if you need help.
