September 24 – tomorrow is a late start

Hello Families,

The first mid-module assessment is coming home today for you to look at. The standards-based rubric that we are to use is stapled to the front. Each questions has to be checked and scored. If the problem is completed 100% correctly then the students earned 4 points and that is circled on the rubric. If you read the expectations for each set of points it will explain what they needed to do for that number of points (4 points is the highest, 1 point the lowest). If you look at the actual test I placed a check mark next to all the correctly answered problems and circled the problems where errors were made. I am sorry this is confusing, we are mandated to score the test this way. Please look through the test, sign it, and return it tomorrow. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know. Tonight the students need to complete Math Succeed -lesson 10, read, and start studying the spelling words.

Thank you for all your support.
