Ms. Szalai's 5th Grade

Hello this is Mahdi and Max from Ms. Szalai’s class.

We are going to talk about this week of school.

• On Tuesday, we started off with math for morning work. Then we took our math NWEA. We did NWEA for 30 minutes then we went outside for recess. After recess we went for lunch. Then we went to music. After music we did our scientific method paper for science.
• On Wednesday, we had to finish our math NWEA. After the math NWEA, we went to Art class and we painted a picture of the sky.
• On Thursday, we started our reading NWEA. After that we had lunch. Then we went to music class for 10 minutes then we went to an assembly. At the assembly, basketball Jones talked about basketball and had a message. The message was that you are important and you are part of the school.
• Today we finish the reading NWEA. After lunch, we did the Esperanza rising picture. Then we went to library to pick out a book. After, we went to our buddies and we had to paint a rock. Lastly we had to go to gym.
