Ms. Szalai's 5th Grade

Hello Everyone,

Today we finished the NWEA Math for fall. Tomorrow we will begin the Reading part of the test, we will probably need to finish on Friday. The students are doing a great job of adjusting. I am very happy to see such good work habits and behavior already.

We did have time to reading using our mentor text. We are reviewing summaries, using quotes to support inferences, and using visuals to represents comprehension. The students need to complete the work in his/her journal that was started at home today for homework. It is due tomorrow.

Tomorrow we will due lesson 3 in math so please expect some math for homework along with reading.
