A Cochlear Implant: A Medical Advancement in Hearing!

Students, some of you asked about people who unable to hear. Here a diagram of the process for you.

“A cochlear implant is an electronic medical device that replaces the function of the damaged inner ear. Unlike hearing aids, which make sounds louder, cochlear implants do the work off damaged parts of the inner ear (cochlea) to provide sound signals to the brain.”*

FRIDAY, MARCH 22, 2019: INTERACTIVE STUDENT NOTEBOOK (ISN) TEST

Like our recent bellwork tests, we will be having an ISN test, due to the fact that many students have chosen to do a poor job on having an organized ISN. Therefore, those who are on top of their game in their organization skills are expected to excel on our Friday ISN test.

Note that this coming Wednesday, the students will be informed from what date to what date they will be held accountable for this upcoming short test.

UNIT 2: TEST SCORES

Scores for both parts on Unit 2 have been posted. The total to look at is 82 points rather than 83; a question was dropped. Retakes will be discussed in class the week after this coming week, due to the fact that many students were either absent or school-related.

Once all of the makeups have occurred, corrected, and posted, retakes will be discussed. Until then, please refrain from pursing your classroom teacher for retake prior to the said schedule. Furthermore, remember that a retake is a different form of the actual test, since all questions have been shared on the iblog under the study guide posting.
