Students will have an opportunity to learn about how geologic time is recorded in the rock layers, become familiar with the geologic time scale, and explain how the environmental changes caused the extinction of some species such as the dinosaurs.
Moreover, students will reinforce our topic on “Time Marches On” by completing a reading guide for it as a form of a study guide, as well as work on a mini-project to demonstrate their understanding of the geologic time scale, this coming Thursday.
