Class periods were shortened today due to all students testing in the morning (MME, PLAN, EXPLORE).

Students practice graphing lines from the given equations:

  • Slope-Intercept Form
  • Point-Slope Form
  • Standard Form
  • Horizontal Lines
  • Vertical Lines

We then continued discussing Parallel Lines from Sec 6-5.

Bellwork reviewed graphing lines given equations in both Point-Slope Form and Standard Form.

The remainder of the period we finished our discussion on Sec 6-3:  Standard Form.  We then began discussing Sec 6-5:  Parallel and Perpendicular Lines.

Hwk #10 assigned:

Sec 6-3, pages 301-302, problems 5, 6, 15, 16, 18, 21 ,22, 25, 26, 36, 58-61.  Students were given a pre-printed sheet to do this homework on.
