MAY 26-JUNE 5

THIS WILL BE THE LAST WEEK FOR HOMEWORK ON YOUR LOGIN SHEET. JUNE 5TH WILL BE THE LAST DAY YOU HAVE TO FILL OUT. DO NOT GO PAST JUNE 5TH. I NEED YOU TO EMAIL ME YOUR LOGIN SHEET NO LATER THAN JUNE 6TH. IF YOU WANT YOU CAN TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR LOGIN SHEET AND EMAIL IT TO ME BUT MAKE SURE ALL THE PARTS OF THE LOGIN SHEET ARE VISIBLE.

Please make sure you are keeping track of your login sheet. Make sure you are doing all the required parts. The login sheet can be found under the class links where it says PE daily login sheet and click on that. You can update that login sheet and send it to me so I can give you credit. It that simple!! Don’t forget to have your parents print their name in the parent box each day to confirm you participated. If you missed a day you can do double one day and give yourself credit for the day you missed. You can also make up days on the weekend if you missed a day and go back and fill in that day as if you did your required work that day. I hope that helps out. Also, If you are sick and can’t make up a day because you just have to much going on just label that day sick and you will be excused. I am allowing you to make up days. So please try your best to do that. Also, please make sure to check out the district PE blog as well. Their are a lot of fun activities you can do and things you can read. JUST MAKE SURE ITS UP TO DATE WHEN YOU EMAIL IT. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT SHARE IT JUST SAVE IT AND EMAIL IT BACK TO ME. IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE OPENING IT OR EMAILING IT TO ME JUST MAKE SURE YOU ARE LOGGED INTO GOOGLE WITH YOUR DISTRICT EMAIL.I’m trying to make this very simple for all of you!!

This week unit will focus on basketball and swimming. Take some time to review all the videos under the basketball and swimming tab. After watching the videos take some time to practice them if you have a basketball. If you do have that equipment ask your parents if you can go outside and practice the skills in your backyard or in a park with your parents or with your parents permission. You do not have to practice the skills physically. You may only go outside with your parents permission. It is not a requirement to go outside and practice. However, it is a requirement to watch the videos under the basketball tab. Also, for swimming just watch the videos under swimming you do not need to go to a pool.

Monday May 11-May 22

I hope everyone is doing well and continuing to stay safe. Please make sure you are doing everything possible to stay safe. Don’t forget to keep your hands clean!

However, it is a requirement to watch the videos under the softball tab.

Basketball Skills (April 27-May 8)

It would be a great idea to watch our governor talk on T.V. often so you can stay up to date on the news going on with COVID 19. If you are unable to watch maybe your parents can keep you updated. Don’t forget to keep your hands clean!

Continue practicing soccer unit this week (April 20-24)

I would like for you to continue practicing the soccer unit from last week. Please see last weeks post and review that unit again. We will start a new unit every two weeks. Please make sure to check my postings every Monday to stay caught up.

Please make sure you are keeping up with the my PE login sheet. It is found on the right under class links. Make sure you are participating in the required section. Don’t forget to make your parents print their name where it says parent signature. They can just print their name in that box indicating you participated. Also, don’t forget to check out the the district PE blog. There are many fun activities you can take part in and many interesting other things you can check out.

Please remember to keep clean and wash your hands frequently with soap. Keep your hands off your face. We covered many important topics in class about proper hygiene and how to keep clean to avoid getting sick. Stay safe! Happy Ramadan!

Soccer skills

I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. Please make sure you are doing everything possible to stay safe. Remember we talked about hygiene and how important it is to stay clean. Don’t forget to wash your hands frequently like we talked about in class.

Please make sure that you are keeping track of your login sheet. Make sure you are doing all the required parts. The parts that say optional do not have to be done. Go to the side of the page under class links. Find the link that says PE daily login sheet and click on that. To share the sheet with me fill in each day as you do the required parts just put a check mark or X in each required part. Have your parents type in their name as a signature that they witnessed you doing the required parts. Type in bazzis@dearbornschools.org Then click done and share when your are done. If you are sick for a day or more just fill in sick for that day(s) under each required part. If you do the optional parts like going outside make sure you have your parents permission. If your parents say no to outside then its a no. Also, please make sure to check out the district PE middle school blog as well. Their are a lot of fun activities you can do and things you can read. Its under class links.

This week lets focus on our basketball unit. Take some time to review all the videos under the basketball unit. After watching the videos please take some time to practice them if you have a basketball. If you do have a basketball ask your parents if you can go outside and practice the skills in your backyard. If you do not have a ball that’s ok. You do not have to practice skills physically. You may only go outside with your parents permission. It is not a requirement to go outside and practice. Volleyball

Students will begin a volleyball unit this week.  Students will start with skill practice.  Then they will take the skills they practiced and apply them into game play.  Please click on the volleyball link at the top of the page to view the skills students will be practicing.  Thank you and have a wonderful week!!!

Wayne County Regional Enhancement Education Millage Proposal

 

School districts in Wayne County have placed a proposal on the November 8th ballot to provide added funding for our schools. It is the “Regional Enhancement Millage Proposal.”

If approved by the entire county, the 2 mil proposal will generate approximately $6.2 million from Dearborn but the District will receive $7.8 million in additional funding for our schools.  Money would go to local schools starting this year and the millage expires after six years.  Continue reading
