Hello!! My name is Mr. Bazzi. I have been teaching in Dearborn Public Schools since 2008. I currently teach physical education at Unis Middle School.
I was born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan. I attended Lowery in elementary and middle school. After that, I attended Fordson High School and graduated in 1998. I began my college studies at Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn where I obtained an associates degree in Liberal Arts. Then, I moved to Wayne State University in Detroit where I received a bachelors in Elementary Education, an endorsement in English as a Second Language, and a masters in Physical Education.
In 2008 I began my teaching career in Dearborn Public Schools where I team taught 5th grade at William Ford Elementary. The following school year I was surplussed and moved to Salina Intermediate where I taught 5th grade for one year. The next school year I was transferred to McDonald Elementary for three years teaching 4th and 5th grade. In 2012, I moved to Unis Middle School to teach middle school boys physical education. In addition to that I also coach middle school sports. I have had the pleasure to coach track, football, basketball, and volleyball around the Dearborn Public School District.
On a personal note, I got married to my beautiful wife Wafaa Bazzi on March 30, 2013. We had our beautiful baby princess named Ava Bazzi on May 11, 2015. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and watching sports on T.V. I also enjoy staying active at the gym weight training.
