Reading:
There is a new lesson posted in Google Classroom and a worksheet that follows.

Writing:
Teacher for a Day Suppose that you are the teacher of your class for one day. You may run the class your own way. Describe 3 activities you would use to help your students learn. Write about what happens on this day.
Describe what you teach in your classroom.
Explain what kind of things happened.
Be sure to give complete details for each activity.

On Google Classroom you will find a Week 6 Writing Prompts page. This has all your writing you have throughout the week. On Friday you may turn this in with all of you writing in one place.

Math:
Lesson 18 is up and there are questions that follow it on Google Classroom.

Science:
Mystery #3. Video and questions on Google Classroom

Social Studies:
Read through your Michigan Open book. You are working on Section 2 Part 2. You can find the worksheet on Google Classroom.

Do you have a child who needs a chromebook computer in order to complete assigned school work?

We will be distributing chromes tomorrow, Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th from 12-2pm by the SMALL PLAYGROUND, DOOR #4.

Please adhere to the state order by following social distancing and wearing a mask. We also ask that a parent bring ID. Please do not bring your children.

Remember to sign in to the chromebook at home you will need to:

connect to your Wifi
Sign in using student number@dearbornschools.org followed by password (what is usually used at school)

Remember that all of our assignments can be found and turned in on Google Classroom. Each topic can be found on the left side when you are in Google Classroom. I find this to be much easier to find each assignment. It is much more organized instead of scrolling through the stream.

Today is a catch up day for any math assignments, reading worksheets, social studies (remember you had 2 readings and a few questions all on Google Classroom) and Mystery #2 for science.

Here is a fun writing prompt for today:
Imagine you could travel back in time to when your mom or dad was your age. Write an essay about your relationship with your fourth-grade parent.

Make sure to read everyday. You all have many options to choose from on benchmark.

If you could be a race car driver, an astronaut, or a president what would you be and why?

Science:
Please read through section 2 part one in your open book. The worksheet has directions and then stop signs to complete and turn in.

A couple reminders, remember to click turn in when you are working on a Google Doc. If for some reason it does not let you, you can simply share it with me. I want to see the work you are doing.
Each day there is a math worksheet and reading worksheet assigned on Google Classroom. Make sure to check those daily.
If you forget to turn something in, please still submit it. I will check work in each day from 3:30-4:30. That is also a time to email me, call or messaged me on ClassDojo.

I am so proud of all the hard work you are doing.

Hello 4th Graders and Parents!
I hope you have had a wonderful day so far. In about 15 minutes we will be having our 4th Grade Hangout.

Before you join the meeting I want you to think about your day so far. On a scale from 1 to 10 how has it been and why? We will share out at the beginning of our meeting.
After we share out we will go over some Hangout Reminders and our agenda for the 30 minutes.
I cannot wait to see those smiling faces of yours!
