Large group time on Wednesday and Thursday was all about balloons and music… we used the balloons to practice movement skills, coordination, listening skills, attention and control, personal space, following directions and so much more!! We hope your children told you all about it but in case they didn’t here are some pictures for you to share with them.

Please remember that an adult must come with the student at the assigned time. Each meeting lasts approximately one hour and student will go home with adult at the end of meeting.

We had a great week! The day is very busy with so many new experiences for all of us. Students are adjusting very well to the new routine and environment of school. We are excited for a great year of learning and growing here at Cotter.

A few reminders…

Please remember to arrive at school on time (first bell is at 8:25 and our late bell is 8:35) Starting this week our classroom door + curtain will be closed after 8:35 am and you will have to bring your child to the office. Also dismissal times are 3:10 (first bell) and 3:20 (late bell). After 3:20 our classroom door will be closed and students will need to be picked up at the office

Monday October 14 – Classroom Parent Meeting – We will be sending a reminder with more information in your child’s folder later this week.

If you have not given us a family picture please think about adding one to our board. Students love to see pictures of their families at school and share these pictures with their classmates. You can send one in or email mazzeii@dearbornschools.org and I will print it here and hang it up.
