Here is an introductory video and greeting for lesson 1 for Young 5’s class at Oakman Elementary. A back up to Schoology lesson.
Because I am unable to post physical activities until I get all of the waivers collected I started lesson 1 with a “get to know you/me” assignment. This second lesson P.E. related in that proper nutrition is an important part of physical performance. Hopefully it answers a few questions you might have and teaches you something new in the process. This is only my second ever video so be patient. I tried using a new platform via zoom because you are all familiar with it. I hope it works. (fingers crossed)

Hello below is the first video link for the 1st week of Physical Education class. It is only an introduction video because without the waivers I cannot ask students to participate in actual physical activity. This was my first time recording and posting a video type lesson so be patient as I am still learning. Feel free to comment if you have any questions or concerns.

Hello students of all ages and grade levels. For some it has been far too long, for others I haven’t yet met but I am certainly looking forward to it. I first want to say thank you for stopping in to check out my P.E. blog. I hope this message finds you rested after the summer break and most importantly Healthy!!
Last year this blog was the primary method of communication, however this year we will be using a new learning platform or link called Schoology. All teachers and staff will be teaching through schoology to make it easier for you students to get all of your assignments and information in one place on one site. Your classroom teachers will teach you more in the coming weeks on how to use it so for now just be patient and do your best to get familiar with it.
I am looking forward to hearing from some of you, if you could leave a comment in the box about something cool you did this summer that would be great. As for this 1st week I will post an assignment by Wednesday which will just be a “get to know you” type of activity about what your favorite sport is and what type of athletic activities you like to participate in are. Best of luck this year as we will all be learning together. We will ease into this year but learn a ton.
This weeks lesson plan has so much to do. I myself started with Monday’s HIITWorkout and enjoyed it as it had a scoring system for completion of each exercise. Remember you don’t have to do something for Phys Ed everyday but try at least one of the activities once a week. If you get bored, if there’s nothing good on tv, when you’ve finally seen every new Tic Toc video just try one of the days activities. Hope you find something you like!
