Week 11 Lesson Plan

This weeks lesson plan has so much to do. I myself started with Monday’s HIITWorkout and enjoyed it as it had a scoring system for completion of each exercise. Remember you don’t have to do something for Phys Ed everyday but try at least one of the activities once a week. If you get bored, if there’s nothing good on tv, when you’ve finally seen every new Tic Toc video just try one of the days activities. Hope you find something you like! Leave a comment about what you did or how you liked something you tried, that would be great for me so I know you participated and so I can try it too! Week 11 link is below ⤵️

Quick Trivia : what does HIIT training stand for H I I T ?

💪 30 Day Challenge! 😅

For those of you feeling adventurous or wanting a challenge below is a link to a 30 day workout. Each day has a picture guide for what to do and how many of each to try and perform. Some of the exercise are difficult so try performing only half of the repetitions, instead of 10 reps just try 5. I personally am going to attempt these every other day. Hopefully you find something on here that you will not only like but will challenge your strength and agility. Half of the difficulty of working out is just getting started so pick a time in the day or evening and be committed to something. I’ll let you know how I did next week on a blog post. Good Luck and Go Hard!!

Outdoor Fun ~ Slam Ball

Here is a game that can be played with 2-4 people. You can make a circle ⭕️ with string, or use a hoop if you have it, or use some chalk. The objective of the game is to hit or bounce the ball into the circle with 2 or 3 taps and bounce it to where the other player can’t hit it back. All you need is any ball that bounces and some type of circle. I play this game often at my nieces house but she has the actual spring circle for it, it’s called spike all officially but you can make your own. Below is a link to the directions and rules to this game.

🤸‍♀️ Tabata Workout🤸‍♀️

This week I’d like for you to try a tabata workout routine. A tabata workout is typically 3-4 minutes long with several exercises that you perform for short 30 second bursts then rest for 10 seconds then perform the next exercise. Below is a link for several Tabata workouts to try, if you don’t know the workout just click the video and it will show you how to perform each one. The most important thing is to do your best for 30 seconds then rest then do the next. These are fun and great for cardiovascular endurance ❤️ Hope you like them as much as I did.

👟Go for a Run Today 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃‍♀️

One thing we can all do to stay healthy during this quarantine is to RUN! I have done a ton of walking out on the golf course lately but now I have started to pick things up a bit and have been going for a daily run. There are few things better for heart and lung health than running, below is a video with a few tips to help you go further, run longer and hopefully test and or increase your endurance. Start today and track your miles I will do 2️⃣ miles today, can you keep up?

⚽️Soccer Croquet ⚽️

Here is a simple game you can play in your backyard with a family member or friend. All you need is a ball and 2 objects to act as cones to kick through, could be pop bottles, could be sticks you find etc.

The game is played by picking a starting point and counting the number of kicks it takes you to kick the ball though the first set of objects then how many it takes to kick it under your playing partner who is in the crab pose. Once you make it through both you switch roles. I played this with my niece and it was fun and worked for keeping our social distancing.
