1. You will construct a piece of writing that is due ANYTIME on 10/21
2. The assignment is on Weathering, Erosion, and Deposition. Your purpose (as the author) is to INFORM the reader about these three concepts.
3. Please access the PowerPoint at the bottom to help you write your paper.
4. Paragraph one – Introduce the topics. What are you discussing in this paper? Example starter: “Weathering, erosion, and deposition are all way our earth is ever changing…”
5. Paragraph two – Weathering: Who it affects? Where does it happen? What does it affect? When does it happen? Why does it happen? How does it effect?
6. Paragraph three – Erosion: Who it affects? Where does it happen? What does it affect? When does it happen? Why does it happen? How does it effect?
7. Paragraph four – Deposition: Who it affects? Where does it happen? What does it affect? When does it happen? Why does it happen? How does it effect?
8. Paragraph five – Conclusion. Summarize your discussion. Example starter: “Weathering, erosion, and deposition are processes that act together to wear down and build up the Earth’s surface…”
9. Must be a page long typed (at least)
10. 12 pt font. Remember – – NAME, NUMBER, DATE and a title.
11. Besides the PowerPoint, you may use google to research your informational piece.

THURSDAY THROW DOWN!

Don’t forget…Thursdays this month are math concept tutoring days! Show up 3-3:30 right after school. Students will be dismissed at 3:30 and must have transportation covered! Sorry, no younger siblings allowed.
We had 8 students stay last Thursday….how many will stay this Thursday????
