Halloween is a time where you can eat all the candy you want and dress up in costumes, but have you ever thought that Halloween is not safe for kids.
Salma Kobeissi a parent of 2 children and an art teacher at Unis Middle School was asked, why do you think it’s not safe for children to be trick or treating? Mrs.Kobeissi replied “We have considered not having to go trick or treating in an uncontrolled environment that the candy might not always be safe.

Mr.Shockey stated “My only concern are drivers on the roads with so many people walking the streets, I think that’s unsafe, I would prefer people walking if the weather allows.
Bessma Altamimi an 8th grader that attends Unis Middle School was asked, what are your thoughts trick or treating alone? She replies back with “I honestly believe if you’re mature enough to go out and be alone with your friends then it’s okay for you to go.” Which to parents that’s true.
