Words of Wisdom
  • Word harder, study longer, and put in more time than you think you might need in your classes, especially at the beginning of the semester.
  • It’s a lot easier, and a lot less stressful, to find after acing your first chemistry or math midterm exams, that you don’t need to put in as much study time…as opposed to bombing your first exams and realizing that you need to study a lot more.
  • Do everything that’s expected of you, when it’s expected of you. And do it well!
  • If you feel like you aren’t doing things well and can’t keep up, get help right away…which leads us to…
Helpful Resources
  • Learning Lab Tutoring: The Learning Lab is physically closed this semester, but there is still live, online tutoring available, for free! Appointments for one-on-one tutoring; “drop-in tutoring”, with no appointment necessary; 24/7/365 tutoring available through Net Tutor.
  • Writing Center: Provides support at any stage of the writing process.
  • Professor Office Hours: utilize one-on-one or small group time with your professor, getting answers to all of your questions.
  • Collegiate Staff: If you are dealing with stressors, issues and/or problems and aren’t sure what to do, please reach out to our staff for help! Right Away! Call us, email us, meet with us in person. See contact info below.
