YOUR BW IS YOUR EXIT TICKET FOR TODAY!

Finish your restate questions (from Friday) then leave them out on the table for the teacher to check.

Work on your composition book (pages 1 and 2).

WHEN CLASS IS HALF FINISHED: If your grade is NOT an E on StudentConnection, you may leave your assigned seat and work quietly.

PLEASE STAY QUIET AND FOCUSED AND ON TASK THE WHOLE HOUR.

BIG TEST WEDNESDAY! (and/or Thursday)

TODAY’S CHALLENGE (1pp): Stand on a chair on one foot while balancing an ELA LIT book on your head for at least one minute. If you go longer than one minute you could get more polar points.

If you’re done with ALLLLLLL your work, and you’re bored, you could start some IXL – language arts – 7th grade level. If your score goes from zero to 100, you will get a polar point.

CW1:

This is complicated so read carefully.

EVERYONE is going to get 10/15 for his/her CER.

EVERYONE is going to start the restate questions.

If you think your CER is perfect with no mistakes, you could ask me to check it. If I find no mistakes, you do NOT have to do the restate questions, your score will be 15/15 and you may move on. If I do find a mistake, your score will remain 10/15 and you must complete the restate questions before you move on.

If you ask me to check your CER a second time, and I find a mistake, your score WILL DROP to 5/15, and you will still have to complete the restate questions.

CW2:

Log into your StudentConnection and work on missing assignments. Keep working until all your missing work is finished.

CW3: Choose something very quiet to work on. You may use headphones.

HW:

Carefully read the text. Then, answer the prompt on a piece of loose leaf.

PROMPT: Compare and contrast the Tigers and the Lions. This means you should explain how they are alike and how they are different.

HW:

You may write your final copy on loose leaf. You must have a title and the question and your paragraph. Use very small, neat handwriting. NO MISTAKES!

OR
You may type your final draft on Google docs. You must have a title and the question and your paragraph. NO MISTAKES! You do NOT have to share it with me, but you must be ready to show me in class tomorrow.
