YOU MUST REMAIN SILENT AS LONG AS STUDENTS ARE TESTING.
100 POINTS
- If you have the HIGHEST SPRING NWEA READING score in your class, please raise your hand and ask for your prize choices.
- If your SPRING NWEA READING score JUMPED the most points out of all the students in your class, you do NOT have to take this test.
- If your SPRING NWEA READING score is HIGHER than a 7th grade level, you do NOT have to take this test.
- You may use your golden ticket to skip this test.
TEST DIRECTIONS:
- All answers must be written on loose leaf. Please use neat handwriting. You will probably need more than one piece of loose leaf.
- Carefully read the article: “Young Lives on Hold” by Tod Olson.
- Write the title of the article on the top of your first loose leaf.
- Neatly write annotations on loose leaf while you read.
- After reading, you MUST answer at least THREE of the quiz questions. The complete question with all four possible answers must be written on loose leaf.
- You may answer more than three questions if you have time.
- You MUST use QAR when answering your questions.
- Because the text is online, you MUST copy one sentence from the article to PROVE your answer is correct.
- Do NOT answer #7 or #8.
- If you have time, you could also make one HIGH QUALITY flash card for one of the vocabulary words.
- If you have time, you could also answer the five questions that are on page 8.
- If you’re having trouble reading the article on your chromebook, you may ask for the actual magazine.
