Grade ____/25 summative 

SAT Practice on Khan Academy

  1. In Khan Academy, Click SUBJECTS -> SAT
  2. Turn on “sharing with your coach” (see Powerpoint attached)
  3. Link your Khan Academy and College Board accounts to import your PSAT/SAT results
  4. Complete any diagnostic tests if Khan Academy asks you to
  5. Click the PRACTICE tab then MATH.
  6. You have to practice the full test to get full credit
  7. You have to write down each question or print it then ANNOTATE the questions.
  8. PRINTED assignments will get 2 extra points then written ones!
  9. you get full credit for completing  at least 80 questions mixed (calculator/no calculator)
  10. Questions have to be from all  4 areas and mixed up from subareas (Explained in class)
  11.  5 EXTRA CREDIT points for 20 questions (All or none).
  12. To get full credit, you must show work and corrections should be made in colored pen.
  13. You cannot repeat questions you did for the winter break assignement.
  14. If you run out of questions, my blog has 8 SAT practice tests under SAT tab.
  15. The winter break assignment has to be turned in with the spring one for the spring assignment to be graded.
  16. All questions have to be NUMBERED (1 through 80), extra credit has to be on SEPARATE SHEET.
  17. LABEL each question with C if it is calculator or NC for no calculator
  18. Write next to each question whether you got it correct or incorrect. This is a must!
  19. Give yourself a grade out of 80. (This does not count against you and I won’t mark you down for a low grade, it just gives you an idea how well prepared for the SAT you are. For example you can get 50/80 but still earn full 25 summative points!)

Remember NO WORK=NO CREDIT

Monday 02/11

  • Bellwork: students were given a set of 10 printed SAT questions that will be used for bellwork this week (attached below). We did the first question and the answer was D.
  • We started section 4.5 and our objective was to graph all 6 trig functions and to make sense of each graph using a table of values (pictures below)
  • Homework p366#13-16 (if u did not finish it in class), #17-28 (graph on Desmos and list the transformations) sketch each graph in your notebook
