  • Students will be working on a Desmos activity: graphs of rational function
  • The objective of this activity is to develop an academic vocabulary related to the content of our objective which is graphing rational functions

  • One of you will choose a graph, the other student has to ask questions to try to guess the graph that was picked.

  • Synthetic division is an objective that you did in Algebra 2. On Monday, we are going to have a flipped classroom where students are going to be chosen randomly so they can explain the concept to their classmate.
  • The following guided notes and their key should help you remember the objective. Copy them in your notes section. Title it Section 2.4 : Real Zeros of Polynomial Functions
  • Complete homework problems p205#1,2,3,5,6,7,8,9,10,12 (synthetic division)
  • p205# 4, 11 optional, long division is EXTRA CREDIT on the chapter test
  • I am attaching the key to all those problems (it is not an accident), the purpose is to do them on your own, then correct them using colored pen so you can learn through feedback and teach us on Monday!

  • Some students took the chapter 1 retake test
  • Students turned in their original test and the review due for retake
  • Students who are not retaking worked on the homework due Wednesday 11/7

  • Also use COLORED PEN and make corrections to homework problems from last week p 169#39-44 (key below).
