Peek at the Week

  • Our story this week was The Teeny Tiny Ghost by Rachel Matson. We practiced finding the Teeny Tiny Ghost from our story. Reading the same stories at home helps the students make a home/school connection and allows them the chance to let you know what they have been reading all week at school
  • We practiced Trick or Treating. No tricks from Mrs. Adams only treats!
  • We learned about the letter G this week. The children made a grape, a ghost, grass, and a gumball machine out of the letter G
  • We practiced one-to-one correspondence counting up to 10.
  • This is our last week of learning about the changing seasons through the Unique Learning System

  • Our story this week was We’re Going On A Leaf Hunt by Steve Metzger. We played in leaves, practiced picking up leaves and putting them in a basket, and made stained glass leaves using all the beautiful fall colors.   • We learned about the letter F this week. The children made a frog, flamingo, flower, fox, fish, or a feather F out of the letter F

Peek at the Week

  • Our story this week was Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert. We looked at all the different colors we can find in leaves this time of year. We pressed the leaves each child selected and then turned them into their very own Leaf Man. Click on the button below to enjoy these stories at home.   • We had some silly fun playing monsters and read Love Monster by Rachel Bright
  • We learned about the letter E this week. The children made an elephant, eggs, eyes, Earth, Elmo, and an eagle out of the letter E
  • We practiced one-to-one correspondence counting up to 10.
  • We continued our study of the changing seasons through the Unique Learning System

  • We learned about the letter D this week. It was a delicious letter as we all enjoyed donuts for snack.
  • We sang about the letter d and each student selected a to make a duck, dinosaur, donut, dog or dots out of the letter D.
