Science Investigation – Tracing Our Shadows

We had a great time learning about how the earth rotates and thus the sun position moves. In the morning we have LONG shadows pointed WESTWARD. At noon our shadows are at the shortest. In the afternoon our shadows are long again and pointed EASTWARD.
