For the winter holiday students created a necklace to give to someone. They used recycled label stock, oval discs and yarn to create a personalized gift. When it was finished, they wrapped their gift and took it home. Some students chose to make as many as they could during the class period. It is always heart breaking for me to make them stop and clean up. The upside is that by keeping to a tight schedule nearly 500 kids got to make 2 or more for their friends and family in 3 days.  That is over a 1000 gifts given in this holiday season by Salina’s creative young artists.
