This Wednesday February 1,2012 both Whitmore-Bolles and DuVall will have a representative from Running Fit come and give a kickoff assembly. Interested students can get the information from Mr.Tapp or Mrs. Rosenau in regards to registration and practices. This is a great event that has grown over the last two years.

The trophy winning classes for the second cardmarking period are Mrs.Rosenau in lower el. and MrsRanka/Namy in upper el.. These two classes demonstated the best behavior , self-control, and effort as a group. Great job!
Road to Disney update:
The participating students at DuVall completed just ocer 500 miles for the month of October. Great work!

Whitmore-Bolles “Road to Disneyland”
For the month of October the participating students at Whitmore completed 775 miles. This distance took us from Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Denver, Colorado. Great job!
Whitmore-Bolles “Road to Disneyland”
For the month of September the participating classes completed 510 miles towards Disneyland in California. Our students would have made it all the way to Cedar Rapids,Iowa from Dearborn. Great Job!
DuVall’s “Road to Disneyland”
We completed 275 miles as a school in September on our Path to Disneyland. That distance is equal to our students jog/walking to Chicago. Great job!
Physical Activity Pictures
I am looking for pictures of our students from sports teams, or pictures of them just getting out and being active to display in a hallway display near the gym. All pictures will be given back at end of school year.
