This past Saturday hundreds of Dearborn students participated in the Bob Cipriano run at Ford Field. The weather wasn’t the greatest but all that participated had a great time and demonstrated great sportsmanship while having fun. A special thank you to Mrs. Edick for her help at the event and to the parents for braving the elements while supporting your children.
Welcome Back!
Welcome back students. We have a lot of fun, educational, and physically active events planned once again for this school year. The first event will be for the 4th and 5th graders in middle October on a Saturday. The event is the “Bob Cipriano Run” that will be held at Ford Field (Same as Mini-Marian Marathon).
The other big events that we will participate in this year will be “Bowl for Life” K-5 , “Jump Rope for Heart” 2-5, “Mini-Martian Marathon” K-5, “Aces” K-5, and Field Day K-5.
This year in the gym with the addition of 15 more minutes of physical education time per class there will be increased time spent on both fitness and sportsmanship related activities to make our games more enjoyable for all.
I look forward to another successful year at both DuVall and Whitmore-Bolles.
