Bob Cipriano Memorial Run

To the parents of the registered runners from both DuVall and Long Elementary schools,

The race is October 15th and should only require about one hour of the morning. Your child should arrive about 30 minutes before the race to warm up, stretch, and see the course layout. I will be moving around from start to finish lines hoping to see all the kids. Make sure your child wears their race bib on outside layer of clothing so that his/hers time is recorded. The run is a fun event to celebrate fitness and remember Mr. Cipriano.

Welcome Back!

Welcome back parents and students. I will be teaching at DuVall for my 20th straight year this year. I also will be going back to Long Elementary for the first time in 15 years. I am looking forward to working with all of my students and meeting some new parents for the first time.

Please remember to check blog every 1 to 2 weeks to see what is current and upcoming in the gym.

Make sure to send your child to school with gym shoes on scheduled physical education days.

ACES 16

Today is the day we celebrate physical activity with over 300,000 other Michigan students. We will take a break in the day to do the Cha-Cha slide and go for a walk. This has become a tradition at our school. Let today’s celebration remind us of the importance of being active everyday.
