Welcome Back!

Welcome back students. We have a lot of fun, educational, and physically active events planned once again for this school year. The first event will be for the 4th and 5th graders in middle October on a Saturday. The event is the “Bob Cipriano Run” that will be held at Ford Field (Same as Mini-Marian Marathon).

The other big events that we will participate in this year will be “Bowl for Life” K-5 , “Jump Rope for Heart” 2-5, “Mini-Martian Marathon” K-5, “Aces” K-5, and Field Day K-5.

This year in the gym with the addition of 15 more minutes of physical education time per class there will be increased time spent on both fitness and sportsmanship related activities to make our games more enjoyable for all.

I look forward to another successful year at both DuVall and Whitmore-Bolles.

Mini-Martian Marathon 2013

This year both DuVall and Whitmore-Bolles registered over 50 students to participate in the Martian Marathon that was run on Saturday April 13th. Although a cold day the participants from both schools had a good time and reached a goal. Great work by all involved and a special thank you to Mrs.Rosenau for coaching at DuVall.

Bowl for Life 2012-2013

Both DuVall Elementery and Whitmore-Bolles recently completed the Bowl for Life program in their physical education classes. All the groups had great fun and gained some knowledge about how to bowl. In the next couple of weeks we should be receiving some free bowling passes good for one free game at Ford Lanes in Dearborn Heights.
