Physical Education Clarity

All students at both DuVall and Long should complete one of the two physical education assignments listed within the assignment page of my blog. The assignments will be used to help determine a Participation grade for the 4th card-marking period.

The job of Physical Education classes during this on-line (stay at home) period is to provide options/opportunities for my students/families to stay active, gain knowledge of nutrition and fitness, and have some fun!

I will provide a video lesson/assignment within a survey once a week on Tuesday’s to be finished by Friday. I will post the asignment twice a week , but it only needs to be completed once for credit. Feel free to use the videos for movement through out the week but you only need to complete the survey once. If you missed the assignment video/survey during the week they will be posted on my assignment page for you to complete when possible.

I totally understand the amount of stress all of us are under and I am trying my best to provide assignments that are fun for the students and easy to complete. These assignments are meant to be fun and a short break from the stresses around us. Both assignments can be completed at your own pace. The Fitness log chart allows you to go at your own pace (could be daily, or every other day, or only one this week but 5 next week) up until Memorial Day Weekend. The Video/Lesson/Survey can be completed after the week comes to an end by going to the Assignments page and finding the survey not completed and click on the link.

You can choose to only do the videos/survey once a week for participation. You can choose to do the Fitness Log chart (after 11 activities send me photo/email to tappb@dearbornschools.org) or a combination of both by completing the vide/lesson and using it as an activity on your Fitness Log.

In Review, pick one or both assignments and go at your own pace while working on them. Use these activities as a fun break from our everyday stresses. Feel free to email me at tappb@dearbornschools.org if you need a question answered. Stay active and safe ! Mr.Tapp
