Ms. Taleb's 3rd Grade Class

Hello students and families! We will have a class meeting on Wednesday at 1:00 pm. It will be a short week this week because of Memorial Day weekend. There will be no assignments on Friday because there is no “school.” All work should be completed by Thursday. Here is our focus for the week:

Reading: Continue to follow your individual reading path on iReady. Students must complete a minimum of 45 minutes each week.

Writing: We have some fun end of the year writing in Google Classroom to complete this week. Just a few weeks left!

Math: We are learning about fractions and using number bonds to show how parts can make a whole. Continue to follow your path on Zearn after your complete the work in Google Classroom.

Science: We will continue our life science learning by investigating life cycles in a slideshow on Google Classroom.

Social Studies: We have learned about many important happenings in Michigan’s history and now we will practice using a timeline to show the order of events. Check out Google Classroom to find your work.

I miss you all. I can’t wait to see you online on Wednesday!

Reminder – We will be having our iLearn video call tomorrow at 1:00.

Good morning, families! I hope our classroom moms had a Happy Mother’s Day! This week we will continue with assignments being posted on Google classroom. Check EVERYDAY for new work. We will be meeting Wednesday at 1:00 pm on iLearn. Directions for logging in are on Google Classroom. Here are the expectations for the week:

Math: There will be two new video lessons for module 5. Please watch them! Monday you will have the video for lesson 6, and on Tuesday you will complete the exit ticket. Wednesday will be the video for lesson 7, and Thursday will be the exit ticket. On Friday you need to complete one Zearn lesson.

Reading: On Monday you will have a teacher assigned lesson on iReady to complete. You should be completing 15-20 minutes of iReady daily.

Writing: You will be working on expository writing this week. Each day for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday you will choose a new topic and complete one journal entry. Remember to write at least 4-5 sentences.

Social Studies: You will have one lesson this week to complete on Michigan history.

Science: You will have one lesson this week to complete on animal traits.

Remember to go to the special area teachers’ Google classroom pages to see what fun things they have for you. Remember that all the hard work you are doing counts towards your report card, so it is important to keep up with the work each day.

All assignments are due today. Complete and turn in all google classroom assignments from Monday, May 4 – Friday, May 8.
