Welcome Back, Students!

I hope that you’ve had a restful summer vacation as you prepare to embark upon another school-year journey in life’s endeavors. Remember always to have a good breakfast prior to the start of your school day because it is THE MEAL OF THE DAY that gets you through the day, and not so much your lunch or dinner. I hope to see all of you tomorrow!

Lab Activity: Acids/Bases Properties

Students will observe and record the effect of indicators using litmus paper and pH paper. They will also observe and record the reactions of acids with strips or pieces of metals. Moreover, they will demonstrate their understanding of the neutralization process when acids and bases interact in a chemical reaction.

When they are done, the students will analyze their data and draw the appropriate conclusions that reflect their findings in this activity.
