Reinforcement II: Limiting Reactant
Since more practice is needed to master the limiting reactant, students are to solve problem #’s 76, 77, 80, 81, and 82 on page 394 this weekend.
Reinforcement: Limiting Reactant
Students are expected to continue their work on the topic of limiting reactant by solving problem #’s 23 and 24 on page 383 as their homework assignment.
Homework: Practice: Limiting Reactant!
Students are to solve the assigned problems on their handouts on stoichiometry that center on the limiting reactant. They are to do Part I, #’s 2, 3, 4, and 5. Furthermore, students should do part II, #1 on mass to … Continue reading
Limiting Reactant!
Students will understand the significance of the limiting reactant in a chemical equation, and apply the principles that are associated with it in order to figure out any unknown quantity that is produced or reacting with the limiting reactant.
Review: Stoichiometry Test
Students will work in groups of three to answer and correct their test mistakes, and then certain individuals will go up to the Promethean board and solve the selected test problems.
Monday, the 23rd of April 2012, Moment of Truth: Stoichiometry Test
Students will have the opportunity to document the fact that whether or not they have learned the stoichiometry process that has been based upon the plethora of problem-solving situations that we have put forth and practiced upon for the past two weeks!
Reinforcement: Stoichiometry
Students are to complete solving the three assigned problems on stoichiometry in terms of moles to moles, moles to mass and mass to mass as a final preparation for the summative evaluation that is scheduled on Monday, April 23, 2012.
Review: Stoichiometry Calculations
Students will review as a reinforcement how to determine mole to mole ratios, do quantative analyses of moles to grams, grams to moles, and grams to grams through stoichiometry. Assignment is on page 983: #’s 8, 9, 10, & 11.
Mass to Mass Stoichiometry
Students are to reinforce the mass to mass stoichiometry by practicing on problem-solving situations on page 377 (#15 & #16) as well as page 393 problem #67.
Mole to Mass Stoichiometry
Students are to reinforce moles to mass stoichiometry by practicing on problem-solving situations on page 393 (#’s: 60, 64, 65, & 66)
