Students will reinforce the Quantum theory of the atom by elaborating upon Bohr’s model of the atom and comparing/contrasting it to the quantum mechanical model of the atom. Furthermore, students will relate the Heisenberg uncertainty principle to Schrodinger wave equation. Moreover, students will analyze the characteristics of the hydrogen’s atomic orbitals that they’ve learned recently. In the remaining time, we will review the lab activity results on the flame test that was done yesterday.
