Note that students are to follow the given procedure in the lab and observe the safety rules per our classroom contract.
Students will examine the results of a flame test that is used to demonstrate the emission spectrum of seven different substances as well as perform a flame test on an unknown material and use their results to try to determine the identity of an unknown substance. Furthermore, students are to analyze their findings and document their conclusions.
