Since the internet is a 24/7 type of format, note that any work that is turned in, the classroom teacher may not grade it right away, but within a reasonable amount of time, maybe a day or two or three, depending on the assignment.
Also, avoid emailing your classroom teacher back and forth. Be original in your email, unless the assignment is not clear, which is hardly ever. Genuine emails are always welcome!
Again, remember, since the assignments are formative in nature, there are no do overs, unless we are doing a summative evaluation.
Final note: Since the classroom teacher is also a human being and does have a life, that person may usually be offline AFTER 6-7 pm, but periodically present throughout the day; this means not strictly 7:40-3:05, but periodically.
