Mini-Project: Volcanoes

Each student will have an opportunity to select a volcano around the world, research it, and discuss it based on a series of criteria that are given in class by creating a PowerPoint on said topic. The duration of this assignment is estimated to last no more than two class periods. This is considered a summative classwork, unless there are extenuating circumstances to be completed at home. Note that each student will be able to earn up to fifteen (15) summative points, which equates to a half of a chapter test score.
