The Rock Cycle: A Poster Board

Students will have an opportunity to demonstrate their artistic skills based on diagramming and labeling the three different types of rock formation based on the processes that rocks tend to undergo over time. Moreover, students will display their comprehension skills by using their oral skills to explain their work to an individual at their table. Students will be evaluated by the classroom teacher on the accuracy of their work as a summative assessment as an alternative means of evaluation.
