TEST: THURSDAY, MARCH 26, 2015: CURRENTS AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON CLIMATE

Students will be evaluated upon ocean currents and their impact on climate over time. Students will be testedĀ upon surface and deep ocean currents in terms of their temperature, salinity, and density. Moreover, students will show their understanding of the Coriolis effect and how currents along with global winds behave on Earth. Furthermore, students will elaborate upon the effect of El Nino and La Nina on land and living things.

As has become standard, students are highly recommended to study their class notes, double journal entries on currents, and both of their study guides on currents and currents’ influence on climate over time.
