Simulate Protein Synthesis Process

Students will work in groups of three to simulate the process of making proteins as they will use colored paper clips to represent their nitrogenous bases (as each is a component of a nucleotide) to demonstrate their understanding of the transcription and translation processes that produce the protein molecule.
