We will further continue our discussion of the empirical formula by using such a formula to determine the molecular formula of a compound as the experimental molar mass value of the compound is compared to the mass value of the empirical formula of the same compound, and the result is a multiplier, and this multiplier is used to multiply the number of each atom/element in the empirical formula to determine the molecular formula.
