I have posted a link to the Water Cycle Song composed by one of our Dearborn Music Teachers, Mr. Jim Walters. The links are password protected for copyright reasons. Ask your teacher or Mrs. Reed for the password and you can listen from home. This is a great way to learn about the water cycle in preparation for the MEAP test. To get there simply click on the “4th Grade” or “5th Grade” link on the right side of the page.
Monday afternoon I discovered a Praying Mantis has decided to lay her eggs on the window frame in my classroom. She was on the very edge of the window which meant that I could not close my window. I decided to go to the staff meeting and check on her after the meeting. When I returned after the meeting she was gone but her eggs were firmly attached to the window.
