Dear Students,

I am honored and would like to thank the one who took the time to nominate me for the Alberta Muirhead Teacher Award.  The Award Reception is Wednesday, May 14, starting at 4:00 at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in the Michael A. Guido Theater.  I hope to see you there!  We can have a photograph taken together and post it on my blog page. 

This sweet young lady was hoping they would announce my name and I would get to walk on stage to receive the award.  She is so precious!  I am honored to be her teacher.

What a wonderful performance today.  I have to say my personal favorite was the afternoon concert.  Is it possible many of your were a bit nervous in the morning?  Our Dearborn Videographer was there in the afternoon to record our concert.  It will be shown on the Dearborn cable channel and also on thenDearborn Webiste.

Our Salina Intermediate Honors Choir and students in grades 4 & 5 will perform in two concerts on Wednesday, April 16.  We will perform one concert at 9:15-10:15 a.m. for grades 6-8 who are interested in attending and an afternoon concert at 1:30-2:30 p.m. for grades 3, 4 and 5 to attend.  Parents are welcome to attend either the morning or afternoon performance.  We hope to see you there.  🙂
