5th Grade Band and Violin Classes
If you are one of my Band and Violin students at Becker, McCollough or Maples remember to check your Google Classroom at least once per week for important announcements. I am also looking forward to checking out your video posts. If you post a video I will be happy to make some comments regarding your performance.

Honors Choir will Perform
We have our first performance scheduled for December. McCollough Honors Choir students will lead the students in grades K-5 in a Holiday Sing-along during the Town Hall Meeting. This will all take place prior to the Lion’s Assembly.
Honors Choir at McCollough
McCollough students in grades 3, 4 , and 5, grab an invitation letter and join our Honors Choir! Rehearsals will begin Thursday, October 19, 3:10-3:55.
Welcome Back!
Welcome back to a new and exciting year of Music and learning! I am at 3 buildings this year: Maples Elementary, McCollough Elementary, and Becker Elementary. I am teaching general music to K-2 grade and also 5th grade Band and Violin classes.

Three Remaining Concerts
I have three more concerts before the school year is over. Please encourage your child to dress nice for his or her performance. It is also cery important that the students remember to bring music and instruments to school on the day of the concert.
Geer Park – Wednesday, May 31, 9:00-9:40 a.m. Music Classroom. Parents are encouraged to attend.
Howe – Wednesday, May 31, 1:15 dress rehearsal for the school and 6:00 p.m. for parents. This is in combination with Ms. Conway’s Production of ‘Annie’.
Becker – Monday, June 5, 2:30-3:15 p.m. Multipurpose Room. Violins will perform in concert with some of Ms. Doan’s students. Parents are encouraged to attend.
