Please be sure to sign up for your proper iLearn class this week.  Click on the link below to go to the course and enroll.  You will have assignments to complete, class videos and helpful resources available on iLearn.  If you were having trouble enrolling and gave me your ID# the password has been reset to your ID#.  You should now be successful logging in and enrolling in the class.

All students in grades 6-8 band and orchestra classes have playing tests this week Thursday or Friday.  Practice at home and be better prepared for your test.

Some of my students are having difficulties logging into iLearn.  If you forgot your password or need to reset it you can do that from the Dearborn Schools website.  Click on this link to get started:  Dearborn

Now you should be able to log into iLearn to begin doing your assignments.  I will give you an extension on the video assessment comment assignment.

You will need to fill this form out and turn it in to your instrumental music teacher before you can take a school instrument home.

This week I am participating in two different music workshop classes.  The morning session is Literature in the Music Classroom and we are reading a variety of story books and exploring ways to use them musically.  The afternoon session uses the Orff Volumes.  We made a video of one of our compositions based upon a song in one of the volumes.  We are gaining new ideas and having a great time, too!
