And 3 more Intermediate Pins members at Howe!

There are many things going on in the music classroom.  Some classes are composing rhythmic patterns and adding solfege to sing compositions.  Some classes are using Super Hero cards to create rhythms.  Our kindergarten students are discussing all the pissible ways we can experience locomotor and non-locomotor movement.

Fourth grade students are reading rhythms with the use of groups of recorders on the floor.  Here is a video of their rhythmic composition:

Congratulations on earning your Intermediate pin!

We are using animal icons to create rhythmic patterns.

Mrs. Reed’s 4th grade students are learning recorder.  As students progress through the levels of songs they will earn take bands to mark their progress.  This is why we call it Recorder Karate.  Please encourage your child to practice their recorder at home.  I only see them once a week and that is just not enough time to teach them.

Cogratulations!  These two have very quickly worked their way up the song list to earn their Intermediate Pin!
