Dear Parents, Please mark your calendars for our Spring Concert on Wednesday, May, 9 at 5:00 p.m. The concert will take place at McCollough/Unis in the gym and include band and orchestra students from grades 5-12. More information will be given when we get closer to the date.
Just a reminder that tomorrow is Tuesday so I will meet with my McCollough band and viola students and my Becker band and violin students. Remember to bring your instruments and music to school tomorrow. Maples Violins can meet with me on Friday at 9:40 since we did not have school on Monday. Looking forward to a great week with the promise of much progress.

Since we have been exploring a few of the movements from the Nutcracker Ballet the students are curious about nutcrackers. 
I promised the students that I would to take a picture of my nutcracker collection for them to see. I will also bring one of them to school with me this week so they can see it up close.
McCollough Honors Choir students will be performing at the Town Hall Meeting in December. They are preparing a special song to sing to their classmates and will also lead the students in some Holiday Songs between the grade level award presentations.
Congratulations girls! You are the first students to be awarded the Cadet Pin this year! Who will be next to receive the award?

We added a few names today. 😀 These are the children participating every Thursday in our Honors Choir program.
I am available at these locations for our Parent Teacher Conferences this month. If you are not able to connect with me at a conference location you can always email or call my voicemail.
If you are one of my Band and Violin students at Becker, McCollough or Maples remember to check your Google Classroom at least once per week for important announcements. I am also looking forward to checking out your video posts. If you post a video I will be happy to make some comments regarding your performance.
