How to use Mrs. Reed’s Google Forms
Some parents have asked for some help with using the Google Forms. I created this video today and hope it will be helpful for you. The actual lesson in the video is not that same as what has been assigned to your child but the concept is still the same. Please email me if you need more help.

Family Easter Fun
Have a safe neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. All you need to do is print eggs templates, color them and hang them in your windows. Then take a family drive through the neighborhood looking for eggs in the windows. Details are in this blog post: https://detroitmom.com/detroit-mom-neighborhood-egg-hunt/?fbclid=IwAR2F4sYdeCn2Mdox0HkufdXgHlmHra8P1RVEPtUUpJ4tgUq3AeawUSBUSjU

Spring Break
April 6th through April 10th is spring break for the Dearborn Public Schools. During this week students will not need to complete any on-line assignments and teachers will not be available. Students and teachers are on break starting Monday April 6th and continuing through Friday April 10.
This is only for the week of April 6th through the 10th.
Students will continue their distance learning on Monday, April 13, and teachers will once again be available to deliver on-line and distance learning.
Once again, all on-line and distance learning will resume on April 13 and continue until the end of the school year.
Please remember that we must all do our part to stop the spread of the COVID 19 virus. Please stay home, stay safe.
We will be back on April 13 for more online learning fun.
Story Time!
Mrs. Reed teamed up with another music teacher from Dearborn to read a story to you. Please check your Google Classroom, Class Dojo and iLearn classes for the link. Enjoy!
We miss our students
Because we miss all of our students and love them and their families so much we created a virtual drive-by video for the Maples School Community. We love all of our students in Dearborn and wish you all the best of health. Take the time to check all of your teachers’ blogs, iLearn, Google Classroom links so you can keep the learning energy going. We hope to see you all soon.
Cyber Music Lessons
We have had the opportunity to meet a few times through Zoom and Google Chat live chat sessions. This has been a great resource for safely meeting students in small groups while we are all following our Governor’s guidelines to remain in our homes. Check your Music Google Classroom and your ClassDojo for news of upcoming meetings.
Stay safe and make healthy food choices. I hope to see you all again in the real classroom soon,
May I Read a Story to You?
I miss you all so very much and wish I were sitting in our music classroom reading to you in person and seeing all of your smiling faces. As it is we will have to resort to online experiences.
I have prepared the same story in two versions. One is presented with the lower elementary student in mind and the other for upper elementary. I hope you enjoy the story presentation and the rhythm activity. I would love to hear back from you through our Google Classroom or Class Dojo.
Click one of the links below to listen to my story.
Take care and be safe.
