Economics Test: Chapters 3 and 7 on Tuesday 10/9
There will be a test in US Economics on Tuesday 10/9. It will cover chapters 3 and 7. There will be a review sheet on Friday.
This is a change. Previously, I said there would be a quiz on Thursday 10/4. That is cancelled and replaced with this test.

WDHS Promotions Manager
WDHS is adding a Promotions Manager. This student will be responsible
for spearheading fundraisers and creating material to promote WDHS events. Any student in any of the classes can apply. The application is attached here.
The application is due on Tuesday, October 2 and interviews will be held after school Thursday, October 4.

Homework: Advanced Movie Making
Due Monday October 1st by the start of class:
- Read Chapter 4 (pages 67-96) of Save the Cat!
- Create a “beat sheet” for any movie (PG-13 or lower)
- Submit your beat sheet by paper or email by the start of class
- You do not have to use the template provided, but you do have to use the format in the book.

Advanced Movie Making Project: Blank Scene
The Advanced Filmmaking class is working in teams to create scenes from a blank screenplay. Every group has the same vague script to work with, but they can direct it however they want. Economics Tests Grades!
The grades for your economics test are in the system! Check them out online. If you are unhappy with your grade, you can take a retest. Talk to Mr. Rauscher to set an appointment. It will be a different test, but on the same material.

Video: Critique Terminology Quiz
On Thursday, Studio Productions, Advanced Movie Making, and Advanced Video will have a quiz on the terminology we use to critique movies, videos, and other media productions.
In preparing for Thursday’s quiz, all video classes might find these definitions attached useful. Be prepared to define all the terms and to apply a critique.

Advanced Video: Poem Adaptation
The Advanced Video class is creating solo projects adapting a poem into a video. The rubric is displayed to the left. This is an exercise in shooting and editing. You must be the one to do the shooting and editing. Be as creative as you want.
